Recently, the 2021 Linkresearcher Academic Journals Impact on WeChat Ranking released the top 500 academic journals on the WeChat platform in the third quarter of 2021. Journal of magnesium and alloys and Nano Materials Science sponsored by Chongqing University were in the list.

The 2021 Linkresearcher Academic Journals Impact on WeChat Ranking is launched by Linkresearcher (www.researcher.com) and Impact Science (the flagship scientific research communication brand of Cactus Communications). It dynamically tracks the dissemination of global academic journals on the WeChat platform, and regularly release the Journals Impact on WeChat Ranking.

The Journals Impact on WeChat evaluates the total dissemination of the tweets from the journal’s WeChat account. In the third quarter of 2021, more than 100,000 tweets of 1,642 international journals from 934 journal’s WeChat accounts were collected and analyzed. Thus, the Impact on WeChat of academic journals was ranked. The top 500 journals were selected into the “2021 Third Quarter Global Academic Journals Impact on WeChat Ranking”.
